Food poisoning outbreak task for hospitality KS4

"Attention everyone! Last night, 'The Golden Fork Restaurant' served its busiest dinner service of the year. Unfortunately, by this morning, six diners have been hospitalised with food poisoning symptoms! The Health Department has traced the outbreak back to this kitchen. Each of you was on shift, and it’s my job to find out who’s responsible. You’ll work in your teams — Front of House, Cold Prep, Hot Kitchen, and Cleaning. Each of you has a statement of what you did during service. Somewhere among you lies the cause of the outbreak. You may question each other, compare notes, and debate what went wrong. When you think you know who caused the contamination — and how — present your theory. Let’s begin the investigation!” split the class into teams, and use the colour coded cards to give the students an understanding of how its happened and what they need to do, you will observe them throughout and the team that wins can get some praise points.
